How to Use 3D-Fuel Filament Profiles In PrusaSlicer with Prusa 3D Printers

John Schneider

Since February 26, 2026, PrusaSlicer includes 3D-Fuel filament profiles, so you don't need to download or import anything to print our filament on a Prusa printer.

Which 3D-Fuel profiles are built in

  • Pro PCTG
  • Pro PCTG Matte Black
  • Pro PETG
  • PET-CF (for 0.5 mm and larger nozzles, including high-flow nozzles)
  • Tough Pro PLA+ (listed in PrusaSlicer as "3D-Fuel Tough PLA+")
  • Standard PLA+

They cover Prusa's current printers, including the Core One, MK4S, MK4, and XL, with standard and high-flow nozzle variants.

How to turn them on

  1. Make sure PrusaSlicer is up to date. If it asks to install configuration updates, accept them.
  2. Open the filament drop-down and choose Add/Remove filaments, or go to Configuration > Configuration Wizard and open the Filaments page.
  3. Filter the vendor list to 3D-Fuel and check the filaments you use.
  4. Click Finish. The 3D-Fuel profiles now appear in the filament drop-down for your printer.

If a 3D-Fuel profile doesn't appear, check that the printer and nozzle you have selected are supported. For example, PET-CF only shows up with a 0.5 mm or larger nozzle.
