If we don't have a profile for your printer, start from a PETG profile that already prints well on it and make these changes. Profiles don't transfer between printer models (a K1 Max profile won't work on a K1C, for example), but a similar printer's profile is a useful reference.
| Setting | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Nozzle temperature | 250–280°C. Higher for faster speeds or thicker layers. |
| Bed temperature | 80°C on textured PEI |
| Part cooling fan | As low as possible, at least 50% less than PETG. Start with 5% minimum and 30–40% maximum. |
| Minimum layer time | About 20 seconds, with a minimum print speed around 15 mm/s |
| Print speeds | No feature faster than 150 mm/s. Outer walls and top surfaces 100 mm/s or less; about 50 mm/s on outer walls for the best finish. |
| Acceleration | 2,000 mm/s² or less; 1,000 mm/s² or less for outer walls and top surfaces |
| Max volumetric speed | 0.4 mm nozzle: about 10 mm³/s; don't exceed about 15. Larger nozzles may go higher; calibrate to find the limit. |
| Flow ratio | 0.98, lowered 0.01–0.03 if plastic builds up on the nozzle |
| Infill | Gyroid, cubic, or lines. Avoid grid and concentric. |
| Retraction | Enable wipe while retracting |
| Enclosure | Not required. If you have one, keep it closed. Heated chambers: about 45°C. |
| Pressure advance | Calibrate for Pro PCTG. See Pressure advance. |
Older printers without input shaping (for example, an MK3S) generally do best at 80 mm/s or slower.

Do you have any recommendations on for max speeds and max accelerations? I have a RatRig Vcore3.2 and have been trying to make dialed in filament and process settings.
