Is Tough Pro PLA+ the same as Pro PLA+?

Yes. What we used to sell as Pro PLA+ is now called Tough Pro PLA+. The formulation is the same. Before that, it was called Advanced PLA+ (APLA+).

Do I need an enclosure?

No. Tough Pro PLA+ prints without one.

What spool sizes are available?

1 kg, 4 kg, and 25 lb (11 kg) spools in 1.75 mm. Our 1 kg spools work in the Bambu Lab AMS and AMS Lite. See spool sizes and weights.

Do you make 2.85 mm Tough Pro PLA+?

Not as a stock item. We can run it as a custom order with a minimum of 100 kg per color. Contact us for pricing and lead time.

Is it food-safe?

No. Tough Pro PLA+ is not certified for food contact.

How much tougher is it than Standard PLA+?

Will it survive a hot car?

It resists heat much better than Standard PLA+, and annealing improves it further. See Heat resistance.
