Small Features Melting, Sagging Overhangs, and Poor Bridges

Small features melting or deforming

Layers aren't cooling before the next one goes down. Increase minimum layer time, open the enclosure door or lid slightly if the chamber runs hot, and allow a bit more fan on short layers.

Overhangs

• Raise overhang fan speed for steep overhangs while keeping overall cooling low.
• Support steep overhangs; plastic hanging from the nozzle there can turn into blobs.
• Hardened steel nozzles may need a little more overhang cooling.

Bridges

• Slow bridge speed.
• For Matte Black, reduce Bridge Flow to about 0.9 (Bambu Studio: Process > Quality > Advanced).
