When Nothing Comes Out: Complete Clogs

3D Clean works by flowing through the hotend. If the nozzle is completely blocked and nothing comes out of the tip, 3D Clean can't help, because it has nowhere to go. It isn't chemical, so it won't dissolve a blockage.

What to try instead

• Raise the temperature to that of the hottest material you've printed recently. The blockage may simply be unmelted high-temperature plastic.
• Do a cold pull on a standard nozzle (not high-flow). Let it cool below about 150–160°C before pulling. See 3D Clean and cold pulls.
• Replace the nozzle if neither works.

Once filament flows again, purge with 3D Clean to clear what's left.
