Returns, Refunds, and Warranty – 3D-Fuel

This is a summary of our Shipping, Return and Refund Policies. If anything here differs from that page, the policy page applies.

If we made a mistake

If we sent the wrong product or size, email sales@3dfuel.com with your order number. We'll ship the correct item and send you a return label for the wrong one, or we may ask you to donate it to a local school or makerspace instead.

If your filament is defective or arrived damaged

Contact us promptly at sales@3dfuel.com with your order number, the lot number from the spool label, and photos of the problem. We'll work through it with you, and if the filament is defective we'll replace it or refund it. Sometimes we'll ask you to send the spool back so our production team can look at it. If you ordered the wrong thing

You can return unopened items in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase, with your order number or other proof of purchase.
Opened product returned carries a 20% restocking fee. Please check the material, color, diameter, and spool size before you open a bag.
Sale items can't be refunded. Only regular-priced items can.
After 30 days we can't offer a refund or exchange unless the product was defective when you bought it.
Want an exchange instead? Return the item within 30 days and let us know it's on the way. We'll bill you for shipping the replacement and send it once we have the tracking number for your return.

How to send a return

Email sales@3dfuel.com first so we know it's coming, then ship it to:

You pay for return shipping. Please insure the package; you're responsible for anything lost or damaged in transit. Original shipping and handling charges aren't refunded.

How refunds are paid

When your return arrives, we inspect it and email you if there's any reason we can't accept it. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. To check on a return, email sales@3dfuel.com.

Bought on Amazon?

Returns for Amazon orders go through Amazon. If an Amazon spool is defective, contact us anyway; see Buying 3D-Fuel on Amazon vs. 3dfuel.com.
